Established in 2004 Comida Communication is two professional food & travel writers and a photographer.
We produce content on travel, restaurants and food for various Finnish dailies and magazines.
However our main outlet is business/lifestyle magazine Optio.

Over the years we have produced & written several cookbooks, most of them in co-operation with Hans Valimaki, the only chef with two Michelin-stars in Finland. ”Home in the Kitchen” with chef Valimaki won The Cook Book of the Year 2004 award and Mikko's ”Gone with the Wine” with Tuomas Meriluoto (MW) on wine travel won The Travel Book of the Year award in 2006. Unfortunately both books are available only in Finnish. We’ve also published three restaurant guides on best restaurants of Spain, Italy and UK/Ireland.
We have worked in various food related television series in Finland. Mikko, our editor/writer is currently one of the head judges in Masterchef Finland 2012 (Finnish Channel 4, Nelonen).
